The Atlanta Falcons have had plenty of success on the defensive side under head coach Mike Smith. Mike Smith is someone who has been willing to sign quality players like Mike Peterson. There are a number of good corner backs who have been under contract with the Atlanta Falcons including Bryan Scott. Many people may be wondering whether or not the Falcons would be willing to sign a sign a safety such as Roy Williams as a way to improve their defensive back field. Williams has been able to stay reasonably healthy during his time working with the Bengals.
Williams had trouble staying healthy during much of his time with the Dallas Cowboys. Arthur Blank has shown the time and the money in order to make sure that the Atlanta Falcons are able to have success as a team. The Atlanta Falcons certainly did seem to struggle against the Green Bay Packers as Aaron Rodgers happened to really picked the team apart in the playoffs. The team certainly had a setback with the signing of Dunta Robinson who was signed for big money from the Houston Texans.

Steve Smith is a guy who has gotten along on potential since coming out from USC if you happen to look at his history with the New York Giants. Steve Smith in many ways has not lived up to some of the hype that was created around him, simply because he is a USC receiver who happens to have a lot of speed. USC has a very talented and historic program.
You have to give people credit for dealing with some of the hype that can come with being a part of the USC Trojans program. There are a lot of people out there who worry that Smith is one of those guys who just too comfortable fading into the background. You can tend to do this in Kevin Gilbride’s offense because of the willingness to run the football with the likes of Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw.
Head coach Tom Coughlin and offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride want to be known as a hard nose team who is more than willing to run the football. Smith then also gets to relax too much because Eli Manning is not known as a particularly aggressive quarterback who is going to make sure that you can throw the football down the field

The San Francisco 49ers have plenty of work to do during this draft. They have issues on the offensive line, at quarterback, and on the defense. This give San Francisco a lot of flexibility in this draft. It also means that the 49ers have to be very careful about who they draft, and try to avoid potential busts. Right now San Francisco has a great running attack with Frank Gore, who at 27 is just now peaking, so they won’t have to worry about a running back in this draft.
When San Francisco hits the clock they will be looking for a QB first and foremost. The ear of the twin Troys is likely over in San Francisco, so look for them to be scouting out top QB talent. If Cam Newton slips down this far the draft boards then the 49ers will be willing to snatch him up, and take the risks associated with him. There will still be safer choices for QB floating around like Jake Locker, and Ryan Mallet. The new regime in San Francisco may want someone with a little more stability than Newton, which Mallet and Locker both offer.

I bet every rookie dreams of playing in the Super Bowl. O come, every man of college football you ask will say the same thing, I’m sure. Only a handful given a chance, though, and for some, hit by bad luck, though, that they had a chance, they still will not play.
I am afraid that this could happen to Maurikce Pouncey. This person Steelers praised for his skills in virtually all. If you watch any comments on TV or read them in newspapers, you’ll see that he seems to be the only person who can put the Steelers as a match for Green Bay Packers guys.
The problem is that they may not have their best players to put out. Maurikce Pouncey was injured and it appears that he will not recover before the game Sunday.

With Jeff Fisher leaving and Sal Alosi being fired from the Twins it is actually quite comforting to hear that the season ended well for at least one coach.
The Falcons’ own head coach, Mike Smith has just got a 3 year contract extension (and most likely a hefty pay rise).
Falcons, who is still in his final year with the franchise following the original 4 year contract he signed with them in 2008 has already stated that he is delighted to be leading the team for another three years.

It’s not a secret that every team in the world needs fresh blood in order to grow, expand and even survive. And there is nothing wrong with its old players, they are great. They are trained, they know how the rest of the team plays and what each and every one of them is capable of. They know what to expect from each other and they can communicate with no words.
But one thing that they can’t do is developing your skills. I mean, they train and get better all the time but in time every person stops caring about the new stuff.

Joe Montana was one of the best football players in the history. He achieved more than many of his contemporaries and some of the techniques he invented are still practiced today.
He was born in 1956 in Pensylvania but grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh. As a child he showed a huge interest in sports, taking on various disciplines before he settled on football.
